New Season, New Beers

We have been getting requests in recently for tart and sour beers. After the seasonal beer from New Belgium, La Folie, went over so well, we have been told to bring in other beers of like nature. And as is our nature, we are happy to oblige!
Bavik's Petrus Blond Ale
Ommegang's Hennepin Saison
Jolly Pumpkin's Bam Bier and Calabaza Blanca
Although these beers do not represent the extremes of the sour and tart styles, they definitely deserve to be categorized as such.
At DeVine, we are always expanding our horizon by bringing in new products requested by you. So, stop in and check out what we have for you!

New Beer All The Time

Hey there all you beer nuts we just got Dreadnaught by Three Floyds 22oz bombers in the store last week and also Robert the Bruce six packs. We also have some great Halloween beers like Pumpking from Southern Teir and Pumpkineater from Howe Sound, a John Mitchell series. We now have our count up past 250 beers in house. Come check'em out.

Inventory Update

This is Myles here with DeVine Liquors. Its an exciting week for the store, and for our beer section. As our selection is always growing, so does the variety available to you. Our promise is that, if we do not have something, we'll do our best to get it in for you. In the mean time, we have seven new beers to update you on:

Magic Hat Scrumptious Spring Lager
Vinyl sails in on her shining wings as the spinning sun returns.  She is the season-shifter, to summon spring's sweet green return... Her metamorphosis becomes our own. Drink in her mysterious elixir as the revolution blooms again...

Sierra Nevada Pale Ale
The most popular beer coming out of Sierra Nevada. With more than a half dozen gold medals, it is a perfect representation for its style.

Summit Finnegans Ale
100% of the profits from this beer go to local charities. Crafted for an exceptional taste, with a distinctive color and purity of ingredients, drink this beer and feel good twice over.

Schell's Firebrick Ale
FireBrick is a refreshing all-malt lager with an amber-red hue that reflects the feeling of the brewery itself. It has a subtle maltiness combined with a hint of hoppy taste that creates a mild, pleasantly drinkable beer.

Furthermore Knot Stock Ale
Black, cracked, stuffed in a sack, boiled and cold-infused. The real treat of this ale is the tangle of flavors that fresh cracked pepper and Northern Brewer Hops create.

Bell's Oberon Ale
Bell's Oberon is a wheat ale fermented with Bell's signature house ale yeast, mixing a spicy hop character with mildly fruity aromas. The addition of wheat malt lends a smooth mouthfeel, making it a classic summer beer.

Lake Front IPA
American Cascade and Chinook hops dominate the aroma, yielding a citrusy, floral bouquet. The hops give a nice bitter bite to the flavor, but this beer is surprisingly well balanced with a full body and smooth malty flavor to back up the hops.

I am most excited for the Knot Stock. It is a very peculiar ale and in my opinion is the most adventurous of all these beers and yet the most successfully crafted. Whatever your opinion is, come give these beers a try and give us your feedback.

The Bomb[ers]

As our beers are constantly increasing in number, so is our high end selection. We have a few very special beers available now.

Morimoto Soba Ale
From Rogue Brewing. And yes! this beer was designed by the famous award winning Chef, Masaharu Morimoto, from the food network. Soba is buckwheat, very nutritious, delicious, and has helped this beer win over 20 awards in the last fifteen years.

Black Obi Soba Ale
A second from the series of Ales designed by Morimoto and brewed by Rogue, comes the Black Obi Soba. As a beer that has won 13 awards since 2005, it was actually dedicated to Phred Kaufmann, Rogue's distributor. It is now available to you! Come and try it while you can.

Delirium Tremens
This is a Belgian Ale, and one not to be taken lightly. Expect this beer to be fruity with hints of almonds and sour cherries. Sweet and fruity, this makes for a good dessert beer. Brewed and bottled by the Huyghe Brewery in Belgium.

Dead Guy Ale
Also coming out of Rogue, this is one of their staple beers going back decades.
In the early 1990s Dead Guy Ale was created as a private tap sticker to celebrate the Mayan Day of the Dead (November 1st, All Souls Day). Dead Guy Ale is gratefully dedicated to the Rogue in each of us.

These are just a few of our newer beers available in bombers (22 oz bottles), we have many others to offer to those who love a good craft beer!
